There comes a time in every item when we must say goodbye – from the pair of jeans that brought you through your first semester to the coffee maker that has always vigilantly kick-started your day.
Here’s to celebrating those items, to those who refused to add onto our landfills by saying “no” and to those with the skills to repair them (or that generously guide us to!)
This October 17th marks the 10th annual International Repair Day where fixers around the world celebrate all of the above, along with Right to Repair movements and commercial repairability breakthroughs that’ll usher in an era of peace, love and mending <3
We would love YOU to join us, in-person at any of our October repair cafes but also virtual through our socials:
Capture your favourite repair moment with an item and post it on socials with these tags:
#rct-we-all-fix
#RepairDay
and mention these groups to get your fix the publicity it deserves!

Remember this is only just the beginning – through acts of repair we fix our items, our communities and ourselves.
Through many acts of repair, together we can fix the world.
WE ALL FIX, 2026.
