Does your stuff need some TLC? Don’t throw or stash it away, come to our repair cafe on Saturday, August 2 from 9 am to 1 pm to learn how to fix it — for free!

Regardless of monetary value, if you want to use it, it’s worth it to fix it. Whether it’s a necklace, bracelet, earrings, cufflinks, or even a keychain, small DIY repairs can get your baubles looking as good as new. We can replace the little hardware “findings” or teach you how to clean your jewellery. And we can likely advise you if you need to see a silversmith for more complex repairs.

Or learn how to keep all your favourite clothes in your closet at our free visible mending repair clinic! Come learn from our dedicated volunteers who can teach you how to fix a hem, sew on a button, darn a sock or mend a hole in a sweater in creative ways.
