On Saturday September 24, Repair Café visited Parkdale Public Library in the Queen Street West neighbourhood. This time, our new 3D printer was set up to give demonstrations on making keychain wrenches. Throughout the four hour event, the fixers were busy working with the visitors to fix their broken household items. We were happy to see that many of the visitors got involved in the repair process and gained a lot of satisfaction from getting their items fixed. In the video featuring our fixer Dave and visitor Fred below, you can see the joy of learning how to fix something yourself.
